Inventing the Future of Patient Care

The University of Missouri recognizes the growing need to improve patient care through the invention and development of new medical technologies. The MU Biodesign and Innovation Program's (MUBIP) purpose is to meet this need in health care and invent the future of patient care through two tiers: multidisciplinary faculty collaboration within the University of Missouri and formal education training in the biodesign process.

Collaborative efforts between MUBIP partners through research bring new innovations in biodesign to meet the growing needs of health care. The educational goal of the fellowship program is to produce high quality, innovative professionals with the desire and knowledge to continue producing successful medical technologies.
