Applicant Information

The University of Missouri Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).  We require a completed ERAS application with at least three letters of recommendation to be considered for an interview.  We do accept COMLEX and/or USMLE scores.

Upon review of a completed application, candidates may be invited to interview.  We hold multiple interview days from November through January.  Our program will provide accomodations at a hotel proximate to the Women's and Children's Hospital and these arrangements will be made by our program staff for each candidate.

The interview day will begin at 8:00 AM at Women's and Children's Hospital and typically ends by mid-afternoon, depending on the number of candidates interviewing that day.  In addition to interviews with pediatric, Med-Peds and medicine faculty members, each candidate will receive a tour of the Women's and Children's and University hospitals.  Moreover, an informal lunch with our residents will occur on the interview day.

All candidates are invited to a reception the night prior to the interview held at the home of Dr. Timothy Fete, Chairman of the Department of Child Health.  This reception serves as an opportunity for applicants to meet residents, faculty members, and their families in an informal setting.  Spouses and partners are welcome  to attend. Dress is business casual. Transportation from the hotel to this reception is provided by our residents.
