Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics

The autism, developmental and behavioral pediatrics division addresses the complex, inter-related problems of infants and children with disabilities. Individualized assessments and programs are designed to meet the special needs of the child and the family. Assessment and programs are based on a team approach that includes specialists in developmental pediatrics, speech and language pathology, psychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, audiology, social services and nutrition. Faculty members in the division lead nationally recognized patient care, education and research programs at the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
