PhD and Master's Degree Programs
The University of Missouri School of Medicine educates more than 200 students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees in the basic sciences, health management and informatics. Students in these programs benefit from the wide variety of creative and collaborative research the medical school conducts in partnership with other MU schools and colleges, as well as many interdisciplinary institutes and centers.
MU's medical school offers PhD and master's degrees through the departments of biochemistry, health management and informatics, medical pharmacology and physiology, molecular microbiology and immunology, nutrition and exercise physiology, and pathology and anatomical sciences. Students in these programs typically pursue a two- to five-year course of study that is interwoven with the scholarly activities of faculty researchers in their degree programs.
