AAFPRS Fellowship

Dr. Keith LaFerriere and Dr. Matt Kienstra of Facial Plastic Surgery, combined with Dr. Greg Renner and Dr. David Chang of the University of Missouri, facilitate a one year fellowship in facial plastic surgery sponsored by the Educational Foundation of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The fellowship program provides postgraduate training to physicians who have completed their surgical training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery or Plastic Surgery and want to further their training by acquiring specialized knowledge and skills in facial plastic surgery. As fellowship director, Dr. LaFerriere is recognized as an authority in the teaching and practice of facial plastic surgery.

Our program is one of 40 in the country dedicated to the pursuit and advancement of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Each year many physicians from leading universities and medical centers apply for coveted fellowship positions. After review of their applications and personal interviews, a physician is chosen to spend one year of intense subspecialty training.
