The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Missouri currently has four funds available for contribution.
William E. Davis, M.D. Distinguished Professorship in Otolaryngology
For over 40 years, Dr. Davis has been in mid-Missouri. He completed his M.D. at the University of Missouri as well as his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He went onto become a faculty member and served as Division Chief for many years. Dr. Davis is well regarded as an excellent physician and encourager of young training physicians.
Jerry W. Templer, M.D. Faculty Scholar in Otolaryngology
Dr. Templer, who has served the University of Missouri and community faithfully for more than 30 years, is celebrated as a devoted physician-scholar who has manifested the highest ideals of academic medicine. “When I grow up, I want to be just like Dr. Templer” is a common phrase among residents over the years when they speak of his influence on their training and life.
Mizzou Hearing Network
For the past two years the University of Missouri Cochlear Implant and BAHA programs have been steadily growing. The implant team is dedicated to expanding the reach of the program in mid-Missouri to those that do not receive benefit from traditional hearing aids. Donations to the Mizzou Hearing Network help to fund those patients whose needs outweigh their resources.
Ear, Nose and Throat
General giving to the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is always welcome. Funds are used to further our missions of patient care, resident education and research.
