Luis Martinez-Lemus, DVM, PhD, assistant professor of medical pharmacology and physiology, is a core leader for a NIH program project grant for microcirculation research. He and other scientists at the University of Missouri have access to a variety of imaging resources, which provide powerful advantages for the study of pharmacology and physiology.
His laboratory is using MU's imaging resources to study the mechanisms that influence the architectural transformation of blood vessels, also known as vascular remodeling.
