Anatomy Laboratory

New Anatomy Laboratory Open House
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 3
Room M148, University of Missouri School of Medicine

University of Missouri School of Medicine faculty, staff and students are invited to tour the school's new anatomy lab anytime from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 3, in Room M148. The approximately $400,000 project involved a floor-to-ceiling renovation and includes 28 new dissection tables, modern audio and visual equipment, and improved lighting and plumbing.

The new anatomy lab is the first renovation project to be completed with $5.8 million in state funds for MU to educate more physicians. The one-time funding will increase the medical school class size by eight students over the next two years. Other construction projects planned for the funding include new and improved problem-based learning classrooms, library testing facilities and renovations to Bryant Auditorium.
