The Missouri Orthopaedic Institute opened in Columbia in May 2010 as the newest, largest and most comprehensive freestanding orthopaedic center in central Missouri. The institute provides orthopaedic patients with a wide range of care in a single location. The institute provides space for inpatient surgeries, outpatient procedures and various University of Missouri Health Care orthopaedic clinics. On-site services include radiology, anesthesiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, orthotics, prosthetics and an outpatient pharmacy.
