Missouri Orthopaedic Institute

The Missouri Orthopaedic Institute is the newest and largest freestanding orthopaedic center in central Missouri, as well as the region's most comprehensive orthopaedic surgery center.

The institute provides orthopaedic patients with a full range of care in a single location.

The building houses nearly 200 staff members and more than 20 orthopaedic surgeons who specialize in sports medicine, joint replacement, pediatrics, hip and knee, foot and ankle, shoulder, hand, spine and trauma care. The institute provides space for inpatient surgeries, outpatient procedures and various University of Missouri Health Care orthopaedic clinics.

The institute was designed and built with the needs of orthopaedic patients as its central focus. It features convenient access for patients with wheelchairs and crutches, and patient rooms designed for efficient orthopaedic care.

The institute includes:

Approximately 45 clinic rooms plus shelled space for future expansion
Two procedure rooms
Five operating rooms
16 private inpatient rooms plus additional shelled space for additional patient rooms
Pharmacy
Radiology, with X-ray and MRI capabilities
Rehabilitation services
Prosthetic and orthotic services
Cafe
Valet parking
