Trauma
As part of the
Level One Trauma
team at the University of Missouri, our staff treats conditions including fractures, dislocations, and severe soft tissue injuries. The most common orthopedic trauma injuries include femoral and tibial shaft fractures, acetabular and pelvic fracures, spinal injuries, and injuries to extremities such as the foot and hand. We work closely with our fellow orthopaedic specialists and physicians from other disciplines to ensure the highest quality of care. We also train the next generation of orthopaedic traumatologists and engage in research to develop innovations that will improve clinical care.
