Vascular Interventional Radiology

MissionchemoEmb

The Interventional Radiology section of the Department of Radiology at the University of Missouri Health Care Hospitals is the first and only subspecialty group in the Mid Missouri area that performs the complete spectrum of image guided interventions and has 2 full time and one part time fellowship trained Interventional Radiologists. With a combined experience of over 30 years, our group has been successfully treating patients with a variety of minimally invasive image guided procedures.

Over the past several years, our program has successfully managed to integrate the latest advances in diagnostic imaging and interventional tools and techniques for the benefit of our patients.

We have state of the art facilities at the University Hospital, Columbia Regional Hospital and the Missouri Radiology Imaging Center. In addition to the interventional service, our group has the expertise in performing and interpreting CT and MR Angiography of the whole body. As a part of the medical school, we have developed a strong radiology and interventional radiology training program for our residents. We are also the first site in Missouri to be involved in training candidates enrolled in Radiology Assistant Program.

We provide round the clock coverage at the University Hospital and are available for consultation at the Hospital and our clinic at the Imaging Center.
