Julia Crim, MD
Professor of Clinical Radiology
Julia Crim received her MD at Columbia University College of Physicians in New York City. She completed her residency at UCLA School of Medicine, where she also did a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology. She has been on faculty at UCLA, Duke, and University of Utah, representing over 25 years of experience in cutting edge imaging and research. She joined the Department of Radiology at University of Missouri in 2013, where she serves as Medical Director for Radiology and Chief of Musculoskeletal Radiology. Her special interests include pain management, sports medicine, arthritis, and sarcoma.
Dr. Crim lectures at subspecialty radiology and orthopedic conference in the United States and abroad. She has published 47 papers in a variety of journals, including: Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (Am), Radiology, American Journal of Roentgenology, and Skeletal Radiology. She is the author of 13 textbooks on orthopaedic imaging and imaging anatomy. She belongs to numerous professional societies including the International Skeletal Society, the American College of Radiology, and the Association of University Radiologists.
