Russel D. and Mary B. Shelden Clinical Simulation Center

The Russell D. and Mary B. Shelden Clinical Simulation Center opened in May 2008 in the seven-story Clinical Support and Education Building connected to the west side of the University of Missouri's medical school and hospital complex. The 10,000 square foot center contains:

  • 8 examination rooms
  • 4 multi-purpose simulation rooms with presentation technology
  • 2 observation and control rooms
  • 1 Cerner Smart Room – a hospital “room of the future”
  • 1 classroom with presentation technology
  • 1 conference room with presentation technology
  • Administrative offices
