Kurt Strom, MD

Kurt Strom, MD, is an assistant professor in the division of urology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He joined the faculty at MU in July 2011.

His interests include da Vinci robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, cancers of the adrenal, bladder, kidney and prostate, microsurgery, varicocelectomy, kidney stones, and prostate laser surgery.

Dr. Strom attended medical school at Rush Medical College and completed his residency in urologic surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Ill. Following residency, Dr. Strom further specialized with a two-year endourology and minimally invasive urologic surgery fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
