Noah Marchal is an instructor and research analyst in the Department of Biomedical Informatics, Biostatistics and Medical Epidemiology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. His research focuses on the use of pervasive computing and artificial intelligence in personal and clinical care, with emphasis on multi-modal machine learning of biophysical sensor data and electronic health record data to track progressive functional decline in aging and neurodegenerative disease populations. This work examines continual and adaptive learning approaches for integrating longitudinal sensor streams with clinical assessment instruments, with the goal of supporting clinical decision-making through precision health analytics that align continuous monitoring with targeted clinical evaluations.
