University of Missouri Faculty Scholars (UMFS) alumna Emily Leary, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and other School of Medicine researchers met with UM System President Mun Choi on Feb. 15 at a UMFS event focusing on faculty development and training at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City.
Choi spoke to UMFS about his vision for the UM System.
The UMFS program is designed to support the efforts of the university to acclimate and retain new faculty members. In this unique program, scholars participate in campus-specific activities and in system-wide programs designed to create avenues for communication and collaboration across the four campuses of the UM System.
