Abu Mosa, PhD, director of research informatics at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, has successfully completed the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Group on Information Resources Leadership Institute.
The institute is designed to help participants fulfill their responsibilities as information and education technology leaders. Graduates are prepared to understand the business and cultural dynamics of academic medicine. They develop leadership abilities, decision-making skills and the ability to assess the range of available technology solutions.
The program is offered exclusively to leaders in AAMC-member medical schools and teaching hospitals who support technology solutions within the education, research and clinical environment. Mosa, who also serves as assistant research professor of health informatics, joins more than 300 graduates from institutions across North America.
Mosa holds a doctorate degree from the University of Missouri, a graduate degree from University College Dublin, Ireland, and an undergraduate degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
