The Youth Summit is a free event for middle school to high school students to expose them to the field of medicine. This bi-annual summit will provide a hands-on, interactive workshop experience, seminars, and panel discussions to excite, educate, and empower students to actively pursue their interests.
MU Health Care’s Office of Belonging & Community Impact and the School of Medicine is preparing for our 2027 Future Leaders in Medicine Youth Summit, an educational program designed specifically for middle and high school students. The summit gives young people an opportunity to explore the world of health care, discover career paths they may not have previously considered, and learn directly from professionals working across the field.
With technology and artificial intelligence continuing to transform health care, we want students to see firsthand how innovation and the human side of healing are coming together to shape the future of medicine. Our goal is to create an exciting, engaging experience that not only introduces students to health care careers, but also helps them imagine themselves as part of the next generation of health care professionals, researchers, innovators, and leaders.
