Our Visiting Student Diversity Program provides opportunities for 4th year medical students to do an elective rotation with the University of Missouri School of Medicine and MU Health Care.

- Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Selected students will participate in the clinical activities of the chosen department including conferences and other educational activities. Students will receive up to $950 for housing during their elective that may be accompanied by a stipend provided by the individual department to which the student is assigned.* Electives are available from July through February.
Students must be enrolled as a fourth-year student in an LCME or COCA accredited institution at the time of the elective.
Students who are members of groups underrepresented in medicine are encouraged to apply.
Apply through VSLO for an away rotation AND submit the supplemental application for the Visiting Student Diversity Program to the program administrative assistant, Kelly Reeves.
*Each individual department decides if an additional stipend will be available and the amount of that additional stipend.
