Dear Colleagues,
We have so many great things happening across our health system, and I was honored to tell our story at a recent meeting of the Columbia-Boonslick Kiwanis Club.
Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization “dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.” The group is focused on improving lives through fellowship in service. With such a likeminded mission, the community leaders in attendance were very interested in hearing about how we are improving the health of Missourians and beyond through initiatives such as NextGen Precision Health and our new Children’s Hospital and Birthing Center.
The support and partnership of civic organizations such as the Kiwanis is instrumental as we make significant impacts in the lives of our community members. The group was very inspired by the work that our teams are accomplishing, and many are interested in becoming involved with our mission.
If you would like to read more about my visit with the Columbia-Boonslick Kiwanis Club, please visit their website and view the meeting entry for Feb. 9, 2022.
Sincerely,
