Our 19th Annual Comparative Orthopaedics Day at Missouri Orthopaedic Institute held on April 5, 2019, was another outstanding event! We had record attendance for Dr. Mohit Bhandari’s Littlejohn Family Keynote Lecture, entitled Think Bigger: The New Paradigm of Evidence-Based Orthopaedics. Dr. Bhandari’s lecture was an incredibly authentic, inspiring, and entertaining challenge to be courageous in thinking bigger in orthopaedic research and in life. The Littlejohn Family Keynote Lecture was followed by a series of outstanding research presentations covering the areas of osteoarthritis, scoliosis, skeletal growth and maturation, regenerative orthopaedics, ACL, meniscus and outcomes assessments. Dr. & Mrs. Littlejohn were in attendance again this year, making the day extra special.
We also had a bit of a TLRO “homecoming” at the Comparative Orthopaedics Day event, as 5 of our PhD Alumni in attendance with 3 presenting their work.
