Stacee Baker was recognized with the 2023 Thompson Laboratory for Regenerative Orthopaedics Making a Difference Award

Stacee Baker, former Director of Research Operations and Planning at the MOI, was recognized with the 2023 Thompson Laboratory for Regenerative Orthopaedics Making a Difference Award. The award acknowledges her contributions to the department’s mission and success, and her leadership in building a united team dedicated to evidence-based patient care.

Baker’s time with the research team at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery spans 10 years. She began her career in research as a Clinical Research Nurse. She then transitioned to a manager role, and finally a Director role, having oversight of research personnel carrying out over 50 clinical research studies/trials at one time. Baker currently serves as the Senior Director of Clinical Research Operations for Clinical and Translational Research with the Mizzou School of Medicine.
