Biomarkers Research Wins Award

Dr. Prakash Jayabalan (former Gordon Arthritis Research Fellow and COL PhD student) received the Association of Academic Physiatrists’ Best Resident Paper Award for research he did at the COL in collaboration with Mizzou’s Department of Physical Therapy. The paper was entitled “The Development of a Biomarker Panel to Elucidate the Effectiveness of Rehabilitation for Knee Osteoarthritis,” and Dr. Jayabalan’s co-investigators were Dr. Steve Sayers, Dr. Aaron Stoker, and Dr. Jimi Cook.
