TLRO graduate, Nikki Greco, was recently accepted to the University of Missouri’s Veterinary Medicine program. She reflected on her time in the TLRO:
“I began working at TLRO in September of 2017, my freshman year. The most memorable time for me has to be when I had the opportunity to present my research at the ORS conference in Phoenix this last February. That was such a great experience, and I got so much closer to the other students in the lab. I went into the lab not knowing much of anything about research, and it quickly became one for the most important and impactful parts of my undergraduate experience. I have gained such invaluable knowledge and skills that will only benefit me in my future endeavors. I truly wish that I had one more year to spend with everyone, but I’m so grateful for the opportunities that I was given, and for the friendships that were made.”
