Emily Leary, PhD, Assistant Professor and Director of Biostatistics for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, was recently elected as an executive committee at large member for the American Statistical Association. She was also appointed as an editorial board member for the journal Measurement: Interdisciplinary Research and Perspectives.
The American Statistical Association is the world’s largest community of statisticians and the second-oldest, continuously operating professional association in the country. As a journal, Measurement: Interdisciplinary Research and Perspectives is devoted to the interdisciplinary study of measurement in the social sciences, engineering, and other scientific disciplines. Articles published in the journal covers topics across interdisciplinary academic areas that provide advances in measurement applications.
