Kyle Schweser, MD, assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery, was recently awarded the 2023 Basic Science Chairman’s Award from the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA)
Schweser’s study titled, “Treatment of Acute Fracture Related Infections Utilizing Bacteriophage Therapy” was recognized at the recent OTA Basic Sciences Focus Forum Meeting in Seattle, WA. As part of this recognition, the paper will be be published as part of the Basic Science Supplement for the journal, OTA International.
