Emily Leary, PhD, Assistant Professor and Director of Orthopaedic Biostatistics was an invited speaker at the 27th annual Cardiovascular Day on February 25 at the Hilton Inn Garden Conference Center.
Her presentation titled “Using Machine Learning Towards Improved Treatment for Patients with Resistant Hypertension” was well received and highlighted the potential for advanced quantitative techniques to answer clinical questions and improve patient care. In addition, TLRO member Jinpu Li, MA, presented a poster on his work titled “Machine Learning to Predict Clinical Outcomes for Patients with Hypertension.”
