2024 – India
In January 2024, pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Gupta and MU orthopedic senior resident Dr. Chirag Sheth joined the Peedh Parai international group's annual medical mission in Nagpur, India. Working with a global team, they performed 23 of 100 surgeries completed, providing vital care to underserved pediatric patients.
2025 – Tanzania
In early 2025, Dr. Daniel London and MU orthopedic resident Stephanie Choo, MD, took a mission trip to Tanzania where they worked to educate residents on complex surgical procedures at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCMC) and Nkoaranga Lutheran Hospital.
