For more than 170 years, the University of Missouri School of Medicine has prepared physi  cians to improve the health of Missourians and the nation by providing excellent health care education and knowledge through research. 

The University of Missouri School of Medicine has been improving health, education and research for more than 165 years. MU physicians treat patients from every county in the state, and more Missouri physicians received their medical degrees from MU than any other university.

The University of Missouri School of Medicine has educated outstanding physicians and scientists for more than 170 years. Today, more than 8,200 MU medical school graduates are improving health throughout the world.

Biomedical Entrepreneurship Training Program for Aging (BETA) is a National Institute of Aging (NIA/NIH) funded training program administered at the University of Missouri. The BETA program is to train the scientific workforce to impart a broad set of skills and knowledge required for translation-focused and multidisciplinary roles in modern academic career positions.

The Lester R. Bryant Scholars Pre-Admissions Program encourages young people from rural backgrounds to pursue a medical education. 

The Clinical Research & Trial Support Office (CRTSO) is comprised of professionals who support University of Missouri staff and faculty who are carrying out clinical research and trials. Learn more.

The mission of the Office of Continuing Medical Education and Physician Lifelong Learning (CME/PLL) is to educate physicians and other health care providers to provide effective patient-centered care for the people of Missouri and beyond. 

The University of Missouri Coulter Biomedical Accelerator (MU Coulter Accelerator Program) began in 2012 as a 5-year, $5 million partnership between MU and the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation. In 2016, MU committed $4 million to continue funding the program through 2022.
