Office of Continuing Education for Health Professions
The mission of the Office of Continuing Education for Health Professions is to educate physicians and other health care providers to provide effective patient-centered care for the people of Missouri and beyond. The office addresses and responds to educational needs in Missouri not adequately addressed in other forums and by other providers with a particular focus on primary care physicians in rural areas through annual conferences targeting their particular needs. CEHP embodies high standards regarding the ethical conduct of CME activities that are consistent with the Guidelines of the ACCME and promote effective education.
Missouri Telehealth Network
The Missouri Telehealth Network (MTN) exists to develop, study and use telehealth solutions that improve access by providing high-value, patient-centered health care and medical education in Missouri and beyond. Along with the Office of Continuing Education, the MTN offers live education activities for CME credit.
Show-Me ECHO
Show-Me ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) uses videoconferencing technology to connect a team of interdisciplinary experts with primary care providers. The discussions with, and mentoring from, specialists help equip primary care providers to give their patients the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Primary clinicians who participate in Show-Me ECHO collaborate with specialists in a case-based learning environment in order to develop advanced clinical skills and best practices. The ECHO Clinics are approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
