Abu Saleh Mohammad Mosa, PhD, FAMIA, is the senior director of informatics technology within the School of Medicine’s Department of Biomedical Informatics, Biostatistics and Medical Epidemiology (BBME). His visionary research is at the forefront of integrating data-driven artificial intelligence with health care innovations. Dr. Mosa has pioneered efforts to advance the use of real-world observational data and to enhance informatics infrastructure for research at a national scale.
Dr. Mosa’s experience as a principal investigator spans more than a decade and bridges computational and health sciences expertise. Within his role, he leads the University of Missouri’s involvement in national health care data projects.
Outside of academia, Dr. Mosa enjoys gardening, travel and sports.
