We offer opportunities for individuals to enhance their knowledge and skills in clinical nephrology and participate in research that meets their interests and career goals. The University of Missouri has one of the largest and most comprehensive renal replacement centers in the nation and is internationally recognized as a center of excellence.
Our nephrology fellowship program provides extensive educational experiences ensuring trainees acquire complete expertise in the field of nephrology. Fellows are given opportunities to assume continuing responsibility for both acutely and chronically ill patients with kidney diseases. This allows fellows to learn the natural history of disease processes, the effectiveness of therapeutic programs, and to observe and manage patients with a wide variety of kidney-related diseases on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Our training program provides an array of opportunities to get hands-on experience in scholarly activities including clinical and bench research.
