Section of Breast Oncologic Surgery

Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery

Physicians in the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery provide care for benign and malignant conditions of the colon and rectum as well as anal diseases. This includes but is not limited to colon, rectal and anal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, hemorrhoidal disease and anal fissures. Through use of minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques as well as enhanced recovery protocols patients are able to receive life-saving care and return to life more quickly.

Section of Surgical Oncology

Physicians in the Section of Surgical Oncology specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and surgical management of solid tumors. Services provided by Ellis Fischel Cancer Center teams include: treatment for cancers of the breast, gastrointestinal tract and hepatobiliary tracts; endocrine system and soft tissue; treatment for melanoma; comprehensive therapy for complex abnormal tissue masses; and rapid outpatient biopsies.

Our general surgery residency program is a fully-accredited, five-year university academic surgical program approved to finish four graduates annually.
