Citation of Merit
The Citation of Merit is presented annually to an alumnus/alumna who has made significant contributions to the medical profession. The award is considered the highest honor presented by the School of Medicine.
Distinguished Service Award
This award is presented annually to recognize alumni who have distinguished themselves through medical service.
Outstanding Young Physician Award
Established in 1982, this award is presented annually to recognize alumni who have distinguished themselves in the field of medicine early in their career. Nominees must be age 45 or younger at the time of nomination.
Honorary Medical Alumni Award
This honor is bestowed upon non-alumni who have demonstrated special interests in the MU School of Medicine and the Medical Alumni Organization.
