Missouri Partnership to Increase Colorectal Cancer Screening (MPICCS) is a five-year, CDC-funded program launched in July 2020 with the goal of improving colorectal cancer (CRC) screening rates at primary care clinics, such as Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). Partner clinics across Missouri implement evidence-based interventions to increase CRC screening.
MPICCS has 35 partner clinics in 10 health systems. These clinics are implementing the following interventions:
- Patient reminders
- Provider reminders
- Reducing barriers to care
- Provider assessment and feedback
MPICCS collaborates with Missouri Colorectal Cancer Roundtable, Department of Health and Senior Services Comprehensive Cancer Control Program and CDC Colorectal Cancer Control Program awardees across the nation.
