Personalized Interview Day
Following review by our residency selection committee, interview invitations will be extended to potential candidates. Interviews typically start in October and conclude in December. All applicants selected for an interview have met the criteria established by our program. The goal of our interview day is to learn more about the applicant as an individual and allow applicants a view of our residency program. We provide opportunities for applicants to meet with a variety of faculty and residents throughout the interview day.
Hotel accommodation for one night will be provided. There is a dinner with the residents the evening prior to the interview day to allow a relaxed discussion about our program and living in Columbia, Missouri. We encourage applicants to view information about Columbia in the link provided on our site “Living in Columbia.”
At the completion of our interview season, we will use the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) selection process to match with potential residents.
Please note: As of July 1, 2016 the University of Missouri will not employ individuals who use nicotine products.
