Administrative and Quality Improvement Fellowship
The Emergency Medicine administrative and quality improvement fellowship at the University of Missouri is a two-year program that will provide emergency medicine physicians with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to become leaders in the rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
Fellow will receive immersive experience and training in:
- Quality & Process Improvement
- Physician Staffing
- Finance & Budgeting
- Information Technology
- ED operations
- Strategic Planning/Decision Making
- Health Policy and Leadership

Medical Education and Simulation Fellowship
The Emergency Medicine medical education and simulation fellowship at the University of Missouri is a one-year or two-year (with Masters of Academic Medicine) program that will provide emergency medicine physicians with skills, knowledge and experience needed to become leaders in Emergency Medicine Education.
Fellow will receive immersive experience and training in:
- Didactic Curriculum Design and Implementation
- Small-group and Interactive Educational Interventions
- Junior Assistant Program Director Appointment for the duration of the fellowship
Simulation Training:
- High-fidelity mannequins from Laerdal, Gaumard, and CAE
- Case development, programming and troubleshooting
- Monthly resident simulation sessions and annual large-scale sim
- Use of new technologies including 3-D printing and VR/AR

- One-Year or Two-Year Curriculum (with concurrent enrollment in the University of Missouri Master of Academic Medicine program).
