As a young department, it is important and challenging to have a wide complement of specialty knowledge/skills available within our faculty. Donations to this fund would help enable faculty to attend training events.

As burnout rates for residents climb to an all-time high, funding for events throughout the year that encourage healthy work/life balance and assist with making resources available for counseling are needed.

As a new program, it is extremely challenging to dedicate funding that adequately signifies the importance of this monumental event. We would love to be able to host an event that clearly communicates the significance of their accomplishment.
International Emergency Medicine Program Support Effort
Our Emergency Medicine Department is thrilled to have an International Emergency Medicine program. This program is still in its infancy stage. While we are able to fund brief away rotations to developing nations for two to four residents annually, there is no funding for faculty who must accompany them, nor for the supplies used during this medical trip.
