2000 – Dr. Jeff Anglen (second from left) established the annual resident Litton Award for professionalism and academic excellence.
2002 – At the 2002 AAOS, researcher Jimi Cook, PhD, (yellow sports coat) links his lab to the MU Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
2003 – MU orthopaedic residents at Holiday party in 2003.
2003 – MU Ortho hosts Dr. Enneking and Dr. Frankel (center back row) as co-Guest Lecturers at the resident graduation weekend.
2004 – Since 2004, the annual Comparative Orthopaedic Day of research presentations has been supported by the Littlejohn Family Endowment sponsored by Bob and Marilyn Littlejohn.
2005 – orthopaedic residents and Visiting Professor in the Francis Quadrangle. Dr. Steven Kane (5th from left and right) was the first recipient of the Barry J. Gainor, MD, Faculty Teaching Award established by the chief residents in 2008 to honor Dr. Gainor's 3 decades as an MU educator.
