Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training Program at the University of Missouri has been in continuous operation since 1967. As a fully accredited two-year program, we graduate up to three child and adolescent psychiatrists each year. The number of fellows has been limited to six in order to provide personalized supervision and to facilitate an atmosphere in which each fellow is considered a respected contributor.
Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship
The Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship is a one-year training program in addition to the four-year psychiatry residency that focuses on the intersection between psychiatry and the law. Fellows can expect to spend almost half of their time in the Forensic Psychiatry clinic.
Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship
The Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship provides advanced and immersive postgraduate training in psychiatry for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. The program offers tracks in general psychiatry and child psychiatry. Fellows gain experience in a variety of clinical settings with a diverse patient population. The program is balanced, with education and training in psychopharmacology, diagnostic formulation, patient care and treatment planning, as well as mentorship from experienced psychiatrists and other psychiatric providers.
