The Physician Assistant Emergency Medicine Fellowship is a rigorous 12-month post-graduate training that combines didactics with bedside clinical instruction to prepare graduates for a rewarding career in Emergency Medicine.

The training comprises 70% of clinical time spent at the Level-1 Trauma Center and attached Pediatric Emergency Department, and the remainder of the time on rotations including a rural community emergency department, adult and surgical ICU, procedure/anesthesia rotation, ultrasound rotation requiring over 200 scans and ortho/hand rotation.
Fellows in the program will work directly with and under the supervision of Emergency Medicine board-certified physicians, primarily with some transition shifts under the supervision of EM-trained APPs.
The fellowship offers a competitive salary, CME stipend, full University Benefits on day 1, including liability insurance, health insurance, retirement & employee assistance program. Additional benefits include 2 sets of navy fellowship scrubs, access to the state-of-the-art Health Science Library, Up To Date, EM-RAP and ROSH
