The Urgent Care APP fellowship is a rigorous 12-month post-graduate training program, with 70% of the time spent between 3 Urgent Care facilities run by the Department of Emergency Medicine. South Providence Urgent Care is in Columbia, Audrain Urgent Care is in Mexico, and Boonville Urgent Care is in Boonville.
Fellows will spend time between the three locations serving a slightly different patient population with different resources available. The remainder of the time is off-site on rotations including a rural community emergency department, pediatric emergency department, and Ultrasound rotation with bedside point of care ultrasound for frequently used UC cases and procedures. The fellowship offers a competitive salary, CME stipend, and full University Benefits on day 1, including liability insurance, health insurance, retirement & employee assistance program. Additional benefits include 2 sets of navy fellowship scrubs, access to the state-of-the-art Health Science Library, Up To Date and EM-RAP.
Fellows in the program will work directly with and under the supervision of Emergency Medicine board-certified physicians, Family Medicine board-certified physicians, Pediatric EM board-certified physicians, and experienced PAs and FNPs.
After successfully completing the program, fellows receive a certificate of completion from the University of Missouri.
