Residents benefit from their knowledge, skills, and support. Learn more about the accomplishments of our nationally recognized faculty.
Clinical faculty are professional teachers who maintain their own practices and consider clinical teaching of residents an important and fulfilling part of academic life. They meet regularly with residents throughout their training, providing constructive feedback in a timely and non-threatening manner. Close faculty-resident relationships often develop and continue even after residents complete their training here.
Though our department has significant size and status, there is a sense of community. Teams, partnerships, and meaningful faculty-resident relationships all contribute to a collegial and supportive work environment. Our chair tells graduates that they have a “lifelong warranty” from our department!
