Because of COVID-19, Observership is temporarily suspended.
The Department of Neurology offers a limited number of non-compensated positions to individuals wishing to gain experience and increase their knowledge of Neurology. Observership offering is three months in length with opportunities in both clinical and research aspects.
Activities consist of preparation and participation in didactic sessions, ongoing academic and research activities, and educational activities. Observers do not have direct contact with patients, but you may be able to observe a physician’s interaction with a patient upon receiving patient consent. Observers also do not have direct responsibilities for any research activities; clinical or otherwise. Under supervision of a mentor, you may be able to perform these activities as assigned to you.
The cost of the observership is $3,000 for three months or any portion thereof; $750 of which is a non-refundable application fee that is due prior to your file being reviewed. You will be responsible for any additional incurred expenses – direct or indirect – such as personal, healthcare, family travel and other related matters.

- USMLE Scores (must include information on number of attempts)
